Choose how you text and call

Texting and calling are set up in Settings → SMS / Voice Calls. Under Number provider, each tab is one way of doing it:

  • Wrapstart SMS: text from a shared Wrapstart number straight away, with nothing to set up. Texting only, no calls.
  • Wrapstart number: your shop's own local number, set up for you. Texts, calls and the AI Receptionist. See Get a Wrapstart number.
  • Twilio: connect a number you already have in your own Twilio account. Texts and calls.
  • RingCentral: connect your RingCentral account. Texts, and calls that ring your RingCentral phone first.
  • Quo: connect your Quo account. Texts, and incoming calls are logged with Quo's summary.

Primary settings

At the top of the page, under Primary settings:

  • Enable SMS Messaging turns texting on.
  • If you've connected more than one system, Send texts through and Place calls through choose which one is used.
  • Call Handling sets call recording and the recording notice. See Call recording and transcripts.

Click Save SMS Settings when you're done.
