Inbound webhook URLs
The simplest way to get leads in from another app, such as another CRM, a form tool or Zapier.
- Open Integrations, then Wrapstart API, then the Inbound tab.
- Give the webhook a label (for example "GoHighLevel") and click Create webhook URL.
- Copy the URL into the other app as the place to send new leads. In Zapier, use a Webhooks by Zapier step that posts to this URL.
- Match the other app's fields to Wrapstart's if it asks.
Each lead that arrives shows in the webhook's log as created or rejected, and starts your New Lead Created automations.
Anyone with the URL can send leads to it. Keep it private, and delete it if it gets out.
API keys
Developers can use the Wrapstart API with a key from Integrations > Wrapstart API > API Keys. The Reference tab lists what it can do. Zapier keys are under Integrations > Zapier > API Keys: click Generate Key, name it and click Generate. Copy the key right away; it's only shown once.
Common questions
#### Do automations run on imported leads and customers?
No. Imports never start automations, and scheduled automations skip imported records.
#### Can I pause every automation at once?
Not in one click. Use the Active switch on each one on the Automations list.
#### Why did my customer not get a text?
Open the automation's Execution History. Check Skipped and Didn't match trigger, and check the customer hasn't texted STOP. See Test an automation and read its history.
#### Can I edit automations on my phone?
No. Build and edit automations on the web. Messages your automations send show in the app's conversations marked Automation.
#### Do automations send at night?
A step runs when its delay ends, at any hour. Use a date trigger with a time of day to keep messages in daytime.
